FLIX5 impairs mitochondrial function and increases the dependency of neuroblastoma cells on lipid metabolism.
FLIX5 prefers to bind to EPLIN compared to SRRD and SLTM.
FLIX5 enhances the cholesterol dependency of neuroblastoma cells under conditions where mitochondrial function is impaired.
FLIX5 induces p53-independent induction of apoptosis.
FLIX5 synergizes with conventional chemotherapy in the treatment of neuroblastoma, shows selectivity between normal and cancer cells.
