Biological Activity

FUT8 Inhibitor 40 is a selective, cell-active inhibitor of α-1,6-fucosyltransferase (FUT8), inhibits FUT8 without inhibiting other FUTs.
FUT8 Inhibitor 40 (20 uM) significantly inhibited FUT8 activity in a cell-based assay, suppressed phosphorylation of EGFR in HepG2 hepatoma cells.
FUT8 Inhibitor 40 suppresses T-cell inflammatory responses, indicating a potential use as an immunomodulator.
