Biological Activity

GC-14 is a potent, selective and non-covalent non-peptide SARS-CoV-2 main protease (Mpro) inhibitor with IC50 of 0.4 uM, displays excellent selectivity over cathepsins B, F, K, L, and caspase 3 (IC50>50 uM).
GC-14 displays excellent antiviral activity (EC50 = 1.1 μM), being more potent than Remdesivir.
GC-14 exhibits low cytotoxicity (CC50>100 μM).
GC-14 occupys multiple subpockets by critical non-covalent interactions.
