Biological Activity

GR148672X (GR-148672X) is a specific small molecule inhibitor of Carboxylesterase 1 (CES1)/Triacylglycerol hydrolase (TGH), significantly increases glucose limitation (GL)-induced cell death in human CRC cell linees, counters CRC tumorigenesis in vivo.
GR148672X does not inhibit the activities of pancreatic lipase, HSL ,lipoprotein lipase, and acetylcholine esterase.
