Biological Activity

GS-1291269 is a potent, selective and neutral ketohexokinase (KHK) inhibitor, with IC50 of 0.38 and 2.1 nM against KHK-C and KHK-A, respectively.
GS-1291269 demonstrates a strong PD effect in both kidney and liver tissues with free plasma EC50 values of 3.5 and 2.6 nM, respectively.
GS-1291269 is shown to effectively reduce the levels of F1P in rat liver and kidney tissues upon oral administration.
