GSK-3β inhibitor G3I is a specific GSK-3β inhibitor, inhibits nitric oxide (NO) production in LPS-stimulated macrophages with IC50 of 3.65 uM.
G3I reduces total phosphorylation in macrophages and decreases the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines in LPS-stimulated macrophages.
G3I decreases the phosphorylation of NF-κB transcription factor acting as anti-inflammatory reagent。
G3I regulates macrophage polarization, markedly suppresses the expression of Arginase-1 (Arg-1), CD206, and CCL18, indicative of M2-like phenotype inhibition.
G3I improves the tumor cell cytotoxicity and phagocytosis efficacy of M1-like macrophages and reinforces tumoricidal activity in in vivo mouse model.
G3I enhances the tumoricidal activity of macrophages in vivo.
