GT-14 is a first-generation small molecule inhibitor of Gαi2 protein, inhibits cancer cell migration and prevents Gαi2 activation.
GT-14 (10 uM) significantly inhibited the migratory behavior of the PC3 and DU145 prostate cancer cell lines.
GT-14 (10 uM) blocks the activation of Gαi2 in oxytocin-stimulated prostate cancer PC3 cells, and inhibits the migratory capability of DU145 cells overexpressing the constitutively active form of Gαi2, under basal and EGF-stimulated conditions.
GT-14 blocks the activation of Gαi2 in oxytocin-stimulated prostate cancer PC3 cells.
GT-14 induces the phosphorylation of CREB protein, downstream effector of cAMP production and negatively regulates the migration of the renal and ovarian cancer cell lines.
