HJ445A is a highly potent, selective myoferlin (MYOF) inhibitor, binds to MYOF-C2D domain with KD value of 0.17 uM.
HJ445A potently inhibits the proliferation of gastric cancer cells with IC50 values of 0.16 and 0.14 μM in MGC803 and MKN45, respectively.
HJ445A prevents the migration of gastric cancer cells by reversing the epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT) process and inhibits the colony formation of the MKN45 cells in a concentration-dependent manner.
HJ445A efficiently induces the apoptosis of gastric cancer cells with apoptosis rates at 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.4, and 0.8 μM were 3.1, 3.4, 5.7, 50.2, and 54.0%, respectively.
HJ445A (15 and 30 mg/kg/day) exhibited antitumor efficacy in the gastric cancer xenograft model.
