Biological Activity

HKC54 is a potent, selective TRPV2 antagonist with IC50 of 0.4 uM, 50-fold selectivity over TRPV1 and ∼70-fold selectivity over TRPA1.
HKC54 (5-10 uM) inhibits cancer cell migration in U-251 WT cells, but not TRPV2 KD cells.
HKC54 (12.5 or 25 mg/kg every other day) produced a marked reduction in lung metastatic nodules, effectively inhibited tumor metastasis in Balb/c mice with breast cancer and 4T1-Luc2 lung metastasis.
