HYOU1 inhibitor 52 downregulates the expression of Mmp3 and Bmp2 genes, both being highly upregulated in activated fibroblasts promoting chronic inflammation and fibrosis.
HYOU1 inhibitor 52 inhibits multiple pathways found activated in pathogenic fibroblasts, including extracellular matrisome alteration, TNFsignaling, cytokine/chemokine production and collagen fibril organization.
