Biological Activity
I3IN-002 is a small molecule inhibitor of RNA-binding protein IGF2BP3, inhibits IGF2BP3-RNA interactions and shows leukemic cell growth-inhibitory activity with IC50 of ~2 µM in wild-type SEM-cells.
I3IN-00 inhibits cell proliferation and cell cycle progression and promotes apoptosis in SEM, RS4;11 Lin-MLL-Af4 and MV4;11 cells.
I3IN-00 reduces leukemia-initiating cells and leukemia engraftment in vivo.
I3IN-002 inhibits IGF2BP3-dependent gene expression changes, inhibits the molecular function of IGF2BP3 in post-transcriptional gene regulation.
