ICCB280 is a specific small molecule C/EBPalpha (C/EBPα) agonist, induces myeloid differentiation of leukemia cell lines by increasing expression of C/EBPα and C/EBPε, and decreasing expression of c-Myc.
ICCB280 is a specific small molecule C/EBPalpha (C/EBPα) agonist, induces myeloid differentiation of leukemia cell lines by increasing expression of C/EBPα and C/EBPε, and decreasing expression of c-Myc. ICCB280 suppresses HL-60 cell growth with IC50 of 8.6 uM (48 hours). ICCB280 (10 uM) induces upregulation of C/EBPα and C/EBPε, modulates C/EBPα target genes, but not C/EBPβ. ICCB280 induces differentiation and apoptosis in primary blast cells from AML patients. ICCB280 and G-CSF cooperatively induce granulocytic differentiation.
