Biological Activity

IGF2BP1 inhibitor A11 is a specific small molecule insulin-like growth factor 2 mRNA-binding protein 1 (IGF2BP1) inhibitor, binds to IGF2BP protein with KD of 2.88 nM.
IGF2BP1 inhibitor A11exihibits potent antiproliferative activity against A549 lung cancer cells with IC50 of 9 nM.
A11 might induce autophagy inhibition in A549 tumor cells.
IGF2BP1 inhibitor A11 decreases the expression of downstream apoptosis- and cell cycle-related proteins such as Bcl-2 and Bcl-xl, as well as cell cycle-related proteins such as CDK4 and Cyclin D1.
IGF2BP1 inhibitor A11 (0.5 mg/kg, i.p.) potent anticancer efficacy in an A549 xenograft mouse model with a TGI rate of 80%.
