Biological Activity

IMTU is a potent and selective TRPV1 antagonist with IC50 of 128.34 nM, significantly inhibits the capsaicin-induced calcium influx.
IMTU has no effect on TRPV2 or TRPV3 current evoked by non-selective agonist 2-APB, also does not affect cardiotoxicity-related channels.
IMTU ( 5, 10 and 30 mg/kg does-dependently) alleviates nociceptive behaviors on mouse models of inflammatory pain.
