Biological Activity

Isosakuranetin is a flavanone natural compound and potent specific inhibitor of TRPM3 with IC50 of 50 nM.
Isosakuranetin exhibits a marked specificity for TRPM3 compared with other sensory TRP channels.
Isosakuranetin blocked PregS-induced intracellular free Ca²⁺ concentration signals and ionic currents in freshly isolated DRG neurons.
Isosakuranetin significantly reduced the sensitivity of mice to noxious heat and PregS-induced chemical pain.
Isosakuranetin dose-dependently alleviated mechanical, thermal, and cold hyperalgesia in rat model of peripheral neuropathy.
