Biological Activity

JH-ENT-01 is a potent, specific inhibitor of the equilibrative nucleoside transporter subtype 1 (ENT1) with Ki of 92.7 nM, shows good selectivity for hENT1 over hENT2.
JH-ENT-01 preferentially inhibits wild type hENT1 over G154S by about two-fold.
JH-ENT-01 reduces formalin-induced acute inflammatory pain, exhibits analgesic efficacy in animal models of diabetic neuropathy and nerve injury as well as of inflammatory pain.
