MBLAC2 inhibitor KV-65 is a potent, specific inhibitor of the metalloenzyme MBLAC2 (Metallo-Beta-Lactamase Domain Containing 2) with EC50 of 37 nM, 64-fold selectivity over HDAC6.
KV-65 does not affect cell proliferation or fitness at concentrations up to 10 μM, but upregulates extracellular vesicles (EVs) in HEK293 cells.
KV-65 is a valuable tool for elucidating the cell biological functions of MBLAC2.
