Biological Activity

MC4455 is a potent, selective dual LSD1/PRMT5 hybrid inhibitor with IC50 of 104/14 nM for LSD1/CoREST and PRMT5/MEP50, respectively.
MC4455 binds covalently to the flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD) cofactor of LSD1.
MC4455 reduces SDMA levels similarly to GSK591 in MV4-11 cells, and increases H3K4me2 levels like GSK-LSD1.
