ML188 (ML 188, Jun8-48-1) is a potent, selective, noncovalent small molecule inhibitor of the SARS-CoV 3CL protease (3CLpro) with IC50 of 1.5 uM, inactive against PLpro.
ML188 displays antiviral activity against SARS-CoV Urbani infected Vero E6 cells with EC50 of 12.9 uM.
ML188 exhibits no significant activity against 68 discrete GPCRs, ion channels and transporters, has excellent aqueous solubility up to 95 ug/mL or 219 uM.
