    Biological Activity

    MMP13-IN-24f is a potent, selective, and orally active MMP-13 inhibitor with IC50/Ki of 0.5/0.19 nM, shows no activity against MMP-1 or TACE (IC50>10 uM).
    MMP13-IN-24f significantly reduces proteoglycan release in rat model of MMP-13-induced cartilage degradation at 30 mg/kg (75% inhibition) and at 10 mg/kg (40% inhibition).
