Biological Activity
MPT1B098 is a potent, dual monoamine oxidase A (MAO-A) and heat shock protein 90 (HSP90) inhibitor with IC50 of 1.77 uM and 19 nM respectively, inhibits growth of both TMZ-sensitive and -resistant GBM cells.
MPT1B098 increases HSP70 expression indicating reduced function of HSP90, reduced HER2 and phospho-Akt expression similar to MAO A or HSP90 inhibitor itself.
MPT1B098 decreases IFN-γ induced PD-L1 expression in GL26 cells.
MPT1B098 reduces tumor growth in GL26 mouse model.
MPT1B098 also inhibits the growth of colon cancer, leukemia, non-small cell lung and other cancers.
