MS102 is a small molecule, orally available USP2 inhibitor with IC50 of 5.46 uM, induces transient degradation of ACE2 protein and inhibits ACE2-dependent coronavirus infection.
MS102 effectively inhibits ACE2-dependent coronavirus hCoV-NL63 (IC50=0.08 uM), with limited or no activity against the ACE2-independent strain hCoV-OC43.
MS102 demonstrated improved efficacy in blocking the infection of primary human bronchial epithelial (NHBE) cells by the authentic SARS-CoV-2 WT, compared to ML364 (Cat#PC-42288).
