Biological Activity

ND-378 (ND378) is a potent, selective MMP-2 inhibitor with Ki of 230 nM.
ND-378 does not inhibit the closely related MMP-9 or MMP-14, and other MMPs (Ki>50 uM).
ND-378 can cross the blood-spinal cord barrier, achieving therapeutic concentrations in the injured spinal cord, shows no change in long-term neurological outcomes in mice.
