Chemical Structure : NFYi5
Catalog No.: PC-26416Not For Human Use, Lab Use Only.
NFYi5 is a specific small molecule inhibitor of Nuclear Transcription Factor-Y (NF-Y), inhibits NF-Y-dependent transcriptional activity, dose dependently inhibits activity of the NF-Y reporter in both human and rat cardiac fibroblasts with IC50 of 19.95 and 12.73 uM respectively.

NFYi5 (0-20 uM) inhibits NF-Y-dependent gene expression (CCNA2, CCNB2) in human cardiac fibroblast cells, also significantly repressed the mRNA levels of NF-Y target genes (CCNA2, CCNB1, ECT2, and DDX11) in rat cardiac fibroblast without affecting the levels of multiple housekeeper gene mRNAs (TBP, 36B4, GAPDH, and UBC).
NFYi5 (20 uM) effectively inhibits the proliferation of rat and human cardiac fibroblasts cells, dose-dependently inhibited incorporation of Edu into both rat and human cells.
NFYi5 inhibits the ability of NF-Y to bind to CCAAT-containing DNA.
NFYi5 induces ubiquitin-independent degradation of NF-YA, reduces the half-life of the NF-YA protein.
