NPD13668 (NPD-13668) is a chemical novel modulator of EZH2-mediated gene silencing, inhibits EZH2/PCR2 activity and decreases H3K27me3 levels.
NPD13668 reactivates the expression of silenced H3K27me3 target genes together with depletion of the H3K27me3 modification.
NPD13668 effectively suppressed the cell growth of solid tumors even without EZH2 active mutations.
NPD13668 inhibits cell proliferation in many cancer cells (PC3 cell IC50=5.39 uM).
NPD13668 is a potential modulator of EZH2 methyltransferase activity.
