NR2F1 agonist C26 is a specific agonist of nuclear receptor NR2F1, significantly induces luciferase expression by 1.7- and 1.9-fold at 0.5 and 1 uM in RARE-luciferase bioassays.
NR2F1 agonist C26 does not bind and activate RXRα.
NR2F1 agonist C26 up-regulates NR2F1 and downstream target genes that regulate dormancy, mRNA levels of SOX9, RARβ, and p27 are all significantly upregulated in C26-treated tumors compared with control.
NR2F1 agonist C26 induces transcriptional changes associated with inhibition of cell cycle progression and mTOR signaling, metastasis suppression, and induction of a neural crest lineage program, and inhibits lung HNSCC metastasis in mice.
