NRAS-G4 inhibitor 18 is a specific small molecule inhibitor targeting G4 in the 5′-UTR of the NRAS mRNA, binds to a G4 in the NRAS mRNA with KD value of 0.25 uM.
NRAS-G4 inhibitor 18 exhibits weak binding toward the RNA-G4 structure formed by AKTIP and DNA-G4 from BCL2, and no significant quenching for other G4s.
NRAS-G4 inhibitor 18 inhibits the translation of NRAS in vitro but showed only moderate effects on the NRAS levels in cellulo.
