NXPZ-2 is a potent, direct, non-covalent inhibitor of Keap1-Nrf2 protein-protein interaction with Ki of 95 nM in FP assays and EC50 of 120 nM.
NXPZ-2 improves AD mice cognitive function on spatial learning and memory function in Aβ-induced AD mice using Morris water maze.
NXPZ-2 rescues the brain structure damage of AD mice with no obvious toxicity.
NXPZ-2 activates Nrf2 and decreases oxidative stress in AD mice.
NXPZ-2 decreases AD marker protein expression levels, with no effect on the Nrf2 knockout AD mouse model.
