OJT008 is a small molecule Mtb. MetAP inhibitor against M. tuberculosis, has MIC50 of 0.063 µg/mL against both active and MDR Mtb.
OJT008 inhibits MtMetAP1c activated with CoCl2 and NiCl2 were 11 µM and 40 µM, respectively, strongly binds to both metal-activated MtMetAP1c.
OJT008 also inhibits the enzyme methionine aminopeptidase 1 of L. major (MetAP1Lm).
OJT008 showed potent leishmanicidal activity and remarkable selectivity indexes in vitro (EC50=0.24 uM).
OJT008 exhibits significant antileishmanial activity in vitro and in vivo.
