Biological Activity

PD089828 is an ATP competitive inhibitor of FGFR-1, PDGFR-β and EGFR with IC50 of 0.15 uM, 1.76 uM, and 5.47 uM, respectively.
PD089828 inhibits PDGF receptor autophosphorylation in VSMC, also inhibits the PDGF-induced tyrosine phosphorylation of the 44- and 42-kDa mitogen-activated protein kinase isoforms.
PD089828 inhibits PDGF-directed migration, serum-stimulated growth of VSMC, and PDGF receptor autophosphorylation with IC50 of 0.8, 4.5 and 1.8 uM, respectively.
