PHA-680626 is a kinase inhibitor exhibiting strong inhibitory activity on both Bcr-Abl and Aurora kinases, also inhibits the formation of the Aurora-A/N-Myc complex.
PHA-680626 demonstrated significant anti-proliferative and pro-apoptotic effects in human BCR-ABL positive cell lines and murine BaF3 cells ectopically expressing wt BCR-ABL or the Imatinib-resistant BCR-ABL mutants M351T, E255K and, T315I.
PHA-680626 is an amphosteric inhibitor both in vitro and in MYCN overexpressing cell lines.
