Biological Activity

PRX-177561 is a novel potent, selective, brain-penetrating, orally active CXCR4 antagonist with Ki of 3 nM.
PRX-177561 inhibits tumor growth alone, increases the antitumor effects of bevacizumab and sunitinib in preclinical models of human glioblastoma.
PRX-177561 reduces the expression of Nestin in vivo, reduces tumor cell proliferation and accelerates cancer stem cell differentiation in glioblastoma preclinical models.
