Parabulin is a novel potent, parasite-specific tubulin inhibitor, inhibits growth of parasites while displaying no effects on human cells.
Parabulin specifically inhibits growth of protozoan parasites (EC50=6.5 uM, apicomplexan parasite Toxoplasma gondii) and inhibits their microtubule formation in vitro.
