Prednisolone is a potent, orally active corticosteroid and a glucocorticoid, shows Ki of 5.4 nM and 0.26 nM for Glucocorticoid receptor (GR) and Mineralocorticoid receptor (MR), produces transactivation at both the GR (EC50=24.3 nM) and MR (EC50=11.8 nM), with no detectable transactivation of the PR.
