Biological Activity

RTOXA-43 is a potent, dual orexin receptor agonist with EC50 of 24 nM at both OX2R and OX1R.
RTOXA-43 (40 mg/kg, i.p.) increased time awake, decreased time asleep and increased sleep/wake consolidation when measured using continuous EEG/EMG recordings in 12-month old mice.
