Biological Activity

SIRT6 inhibitor S6 (SIRT6-IN-1) is a selective SIRT6 inhibitor with IC50 of 106 uM, 114 uM and 314 uM for SIRT6, SIRT2 and SIRT1 respectively.
SIRT6 inhibitor S6 increases acetylation at SIRT6 target lysines on histone 3, reduces TNF-α secretion, GLUT-1 upregulation, and increases glucose uptake.
