Biological Activity

SP 141 is a specific MDM2 inhibitor that promotes MDM2 auto-ubiquitination and degradation.
SP 141 induces pancreatic cancer cell death (IC50=0.38-0.5 uM) and inhibits MDM2 expression, regardless of the p53 status of the cells.
SP 141 inhibits growth of xenograft tumors in vivo.
