Biological Activity
SRC-1 inhibitor 10 is a small molecule SARS-CoV-2 replication inhibitor targeting host lipogenesis, potently inhibits replication of both the prototypic and BA.1 variants with EC50 of 0.9 and 0.5 uM respectively, binds to and promotes degradation of nuclear receptor coactivator 1 (NCOA1, SRC-1).
SRC-1 inhibitor 10 (8 uM) inhibit SARS-CoV-2 infection primarily at the post-entry stage rather than at the entry stage.
SRC-1 inhibitor 10 suppresses SARS-CoV-2 replication by inhibiting viral RNA replication and disrupting the architecture of eplication organelles (ROs).
SRC-1 inhibitor 10 inhibits viral replication primarily through interference with free fatty acid synthesis.
SRC-1 inhibitor 10 (12 mg/kg) suppresses viral replication and alleviates lung pathology in a Syrian hamster infection model.
