Saikosaponin D is an active component isolated from Bupleurum falcatum, inhibits activated T lymphocyte proliferation by downregulating the NF-κB, NF-AT, and AP-1 signaling pathways, suppresses enterovirus A71 infection (EV-A71) by inhibiting autophagy, also potently inhibits the proliferation and invasion of cancer cells, induces the apoptosis of cancer cells, and suppresses angiogenesis.
