Sodium cromoglicate (Cromolyn sodium) is a mast cell stabilizer with anti-inflammatory activity that prevents the release of inflammatory chemicals such as histamine, leukotrienes from mast cells.
Sodium cromoglicate (Cromolyn sodium) also inhibits chloride channels, and binds S100P to block the interaction between S100P and RAGE.
