SpiD7 is a spirocyclic dimer compound that activates the unfolded protein response (UPR), selectively inhibits growth and induce apoptosis of cancer cells.
SpiD7 activates UPR in both normal and cancer cells, and selectively induces apoptosis in cancer cells.
SpiD7 inhibits growth of high-grade serous carcinoma (HGSC) cell lines, reduces clonogenic growth and survival of HGSC cells (IC50<1 uM), activates effector caspases 3/7.
