DU-14 shows neuroprotective effects against neurotoxic Aβ, alleviates Aβ-induced impairments in spatial memory and synaptic plasticity. DU-14 can potentiate the blockade of the amnestic effects of scopolamine by exogenously administered DHEAS. DU-14 enhanced the reversal of amnesia by DHEAS.
