Biological Activity

SyntOFF is a specific small molecule inhibitor of syntenin with IC50 of 37 uM in HTRF assays, targets the PDZ2 domain of syntenin.
SyntOFF does not affect Erbin-P0071 or GRASP55-JAM-B complexes in HTRF.
SyntOFF displays a KD value of 130 µM for syntenin-PDZ tandem plus C-terminal domain.
SyntOFF decreased MCF-7 mammosphere formation, with no effect when MCF-7 cells is KO for syntenin expression, interferes with cell migration, proliferation
SyntOFF regulates the loading of exosomes with syntenin-dependent cargo and EpCAM.
