Biological Activity

TCL-1 is non-covalent inhibitor of the Pru (Pleckstrin-like receptor for ubiquitin) domain of Rpn-13, affects proteasome-mediated proteolysis.

TCL-1 is shown to bind to the same surface as Rpn-2, which is a Rpn-13 binding partner within the 19S RP, with modest affinity (KD = 26 μM).

TCL-1 affects proteasome-mediated proteolysis through an interaction with Rpn-13.
