Biological Activity

PRMT1 activator TR-07 hydrochloride is a selective, cell-active PRMT1 activator with EC50 of 208.3 uM, selectively enhances the catalytic activity of PRMT1 in vitro.
TR-07 binds to the αY helix near the catalytic core of PRMT1.
TR-07 enhances the sensitivity to gemcitabine-induced apoptosis in PDAC tumor cells.
TR-07 enhances global ADMA levels in pancreatic tumor cells and augments PRMT1's apoptotic function in cell culture and mouse models.
