Biological Activity
TTBK inhibitor 13 (TTBK1/2 inhibitor) is a potent and cell active tau tubulin kinase 1 and 2 (TTBK1 and TTBK2) inhibitor with IC50 of 3 nM and 2.8 nM for TTBK1 and TTBK2, respectively.
TTBK inhibitor 13 exhibits excellent kinome-wide selectivity against K300 panel.
TTBK inhibitor 13 (10 uM) effectively inhibits TTBK2 activity and, in turn, cilia formation in a cellular model of ciliogenesis in RPE1 cells.
TTBK inhibitor 13 is a powerful tool to interrogate TTBK1/2-mediated biology as it relates to ciliogenesis, neurodegenerative diseases, and beyond.
