Biological Activity
TXD-174 is a potent, broad-spectrum dengue virus (DENV) inhibitor with EC50 of 6.93, 3.46, 7.47 and 6.79 uM for DENV1, DENV2, DENV3 and DENV4-infected BHK-21 cells.
TXD-174 (10 μM) inhibits the mRNA level of dengue virus in a concentration-dependent manner in DENV2‐infected BHK‐21 cells.
TXD‑174 markedly suppresses antibody-mediated DENV infection.
TXD-174 upregulates IL-24 in response to DENV2 infection.
TXD-174 (50 mg/kg dose) effectively mitigated virus-induced body weight loss in DENV2 infection in wild-type mice.
TXD-174 exerts potent anti-DENV2 activity by upregulating IL-24 and suppressing viral protein expression.
