Tenovin-6 hydrochloride is a small-molecule p53 activator, inhibits purified human SirT1 deacetylase activity in vitro with IC50 of 21 μM and human SirT2 activity with IC50 of 10 μM.
Tenovin-6 hydrochloride is a small-molecule p53 activator, inhibits purified human SirT1 deacetylase activity in vitro with IC50 of 21 μM and human SirT2 activity with IC50 of 10 μM. Tenovin-6 weakly inhibits SirT3 activity with IC50 of 67 uM and does not inhibit HDAC8. Tenovin-6 is active on mammalian cells at one-digit micromolar concentrations and decreases tumor growth in vivo as single agents.
