Biological Activity

Titanocene dichloride (Cp2 TiCl 2) is an active inhibitor of interaction between SARS-CoV-2 spike (S) protein with the ACE2 receptor (IC50=3.9 uM).
Titanocene dichloride did not trigger significant cytotoxic effects up to the highest investigated concentration 50 uM in SARS-CoV-2 infected cells.
