Biological Activity

USP7 activator MS-8 is a selective small molecule activator of ubiquitin-specific protease 7 (USP7), does not activate USP47 and shows selectivity against other DUBs.
MS-8 binds allosteric CPB pocket on USP7, competes with the C-terminal tail of USP7 for binding in the CPB pocket.
MS-8 mimics USP7 mechanism of allosteric autoactivation
MS-8 activates cellular mutant USP7.
